About the Event

Lezlee will host a reading from her book, Saved by a Stranger: Life-Changing Journeys of Transplant Patients, at this cozy local bookstore, Ketonet Passim, in Nyack. The book tells the story of her husband's 18 year battle with an autoimmune disorder leading to his liver transplant plus chapters from other liver transplant recipients.

Ketonet Passim or “Coat-of-Many-Colors” bookstore is stocked with fiction and nonfiction in the areas of social justice, feminism, LGBTQ studies, literary criticism, religion, poetry, and art, as well as children’s books, young adult books, toys, and puzzles.
